After the Ministry opened the gates of Azkaban and gave the inmates a second chance as Snatchers, there's no better way to celebrate then with a new friend. [Part of my ongoing story, "She'll Be All Right", but with adult themes.]

A day after taking over the Ministry of Magic, the Death Eaters decide to set certain prisoners of Azkaban free in exchange for their services. [Set right before the events of "She'll Be All Right".]

It didn't seem to keep anyone from trying to escape, but the Ministry still believed in letting them see the consequences of any attempt, so once again they were all herded into the main auditorium, surrounded by a couple of guards and a flock of Dementors.

The Ministry didn't open the gates of Azkaban for free, and all who wish to remain out of prison have to work hard to pay this enormous debt. Set during the Second Wizarding War; focusing on the various groups of Snatchers and our favourite, Scabior. [Chapter 8 is up!]

There were many things Tamora hated about the Ministry, but their new rules about handling the prisoners brought things to a new level. Unless their condition required immediate assistance, no Undesirables over Number 77 were taken in between eight in the evening and nine in the morning, which meant they often got stuck with the prisoners all night.

Heads of Houses helping out their own teams had always been as much of a tradition as start of term feasts and seventh years daring each other to spend their last night in the Forbidden Forest. But the way Snape was doing it brought things to a new level.
