In which Kise works at Build-A-Bear and Aomine goes through quite the process to win his heart.
More importantly than anything else, was that they fell in love with each other again day after day.
A new government has taken over Japan, and for fourteen hours one day a year, there is to be a purge where any and all crime, including the murder of other civilians is legal. Aomine thinks about how he would do anything in the world to give Kise a better life, and how he would go against anything and everything to keep him safe.
Kise was his muse, and after the months they had spent together, Aomine had him to thank for carrying him so far. Kise kept him inspired, Aomine's art found life because of him; his horizons expanded, and everything started looking brighter, feeling warmer. Aomine discovered a masterpiece in Kise Ryouta, and he was thankful every day for their fated meeting.
Kise Ryouta is used to being offered numerous types of gifts, but flowers are not one of them.
"Maybe I'm your Mr. Right; Baby, maybe I'm the one you like; Maybe I'm a shot in the dark and you're the morning light; Maybe this is sad but true; Baby, maybe you've got nothing to lose; You could be the best of me when I'm the worst for you."
It's in this moment that Aomine Daiki realizes why he never listens to Kise Ryouta. Ever.
The first time Kise cries – fully breaks down with tears streaming down his cheeks and soundless sobs catching in his throat – is after Kaijou's match against Touou... The last time Kise cries is the last time he dares shed another tear over Aomine. [AoKise Week Day 1: Firsts/Lasts]
His happiness is contagious, warm, and loving; it's Aomine's favourite kind of happiness, one he wants to feel every day when he wakes up and every night before he goes to sleep. On days it makes him feel like a kitten, dozing off due to the warmth it provides. Before long Aomine realizes he truly is a panther basking in the warmth of the sun.
Two idiots have phone sex. That's it, that's the story.
Pure AoKise fluff.
