We stand here today, September 14th, 1861, to execute heavenly justice upon Castiel—on Castiel for the crimes of murder, fraud, impersonation of a priest, theft, desertion, and public indecency. Dean/Cas western au, PWP.
It is foretold that the angels will storm Hell to raise the Righteous Man so that he can fight the Devil and save the world. Castiel is doing just that, only he's not a member of the God squad (though his wings would suggest otherwise). Faced with the forces of Heaven and Hell, Castiel throws his lot in with Sam and Dean, but it isn't easy to earn the Winchesters' trust.
Some kid messes up Baby's paint job. Dean should be pissed off, except it's hard to be mad when said kid turns out to be pretty. Dean/Cas high school au.
When John passes away, Sam and Dean inherit the family farm. But Sam's out doing lawyer-ly things, and Dean's an aircraft technician, and neither has any interest in running a farm. That is, until Dean goes home to sell the farm and meets the resident beekeeper, an eccentric and surly man named Castiel.
Dean thinks he's fine. He knows he's fine. He counts the days and moves on, because that's what Winchesters do. Mourning, grief, parallel to ep 7.02-7.10
The cure doesn't take, but instead of killing Dean, Sam and Samuel decide to lock him up until they figure out a way to cure him. But in the meantime, unless Dean gets something in his system, he'll starve to death. Blood drinking, 6.05 coda
