set in the AU after canon!castle dies. AU!Beckett is in need of answers (a bit more than just answers) and tracks down AU!Castle. basically this is my first AU so be gentle. well, it basically AU!Caskett and how they get to the point of canon!caskett.

bracken's back...from inside prison and he's back to what he always does, tries to kill beckett. BUT this time, he gives her the choice of either leaving her life behind or having her loved ones get killed. **angst, but no one dies. one-shot most likely.
