Moriarty is back, and Molly may be in serious danger as he decides to include her in his game with the consulting detective. But when pasts are exploited and unforeseen players are brought to light, Sherlock and Molly will have to confront their demons, all the while holding fast to what matters most to them in the end. Sherlock skulks away from John and Mary's wedding reception to get an early night. Lestrade shows up at his door the next morning to return Jonathan Small's camera and he commences to go through the wedding photos; particularly those of a certain bright guest.
Robert, Molly's first love has re-entered her life and to Sherlock's dismay, threatens to be her ever after. Unsolicited feelings aside, Sherlock can't shake off the feeling that something is very wrong with him. Until he finds out what, Sherlock, Molly, and Robert will be locked into a dangerous conflict where they will learn how thin is the line distinguishes love and obsession.
Sherlock is whining and an exasperated Molly shuts him up in the most surprising way.
It was a stupid argument; one that should hardly have escalated to the point there they were now. They never should have been his last words to her.
It finally happened. Molly's fed up with Sherlock ruining her dates and puts her foot down about it. But what she asks of the consulting detective isn't quite what anyone expected.
"After all she had survived through; Moriarty's return, Moran's following vengeance, it had all been for naught. In the end, she was taken away by an act of random violence."
Inspired by 'The 7.39' film. A drug recovering Sherlock and happily engaged Molly first meet on a 7.39 train to London when he rudely takes the last seat she had meant to occupy. They strike up a friendship of sorts during their regular commute that rapidly changes as they begin to incorporate themselves into each others' lives in more ways than is appropriate.
