The fourth of my Albus Potter and series, and the eighth in the long Almost Happily Ever After saga of the Potter and Weasley families from after the Battle of Hogwarts, through the 19-year epilogue, and now well into Albus's years at Hogwarts. Many threads that I have been developing in the past seven books will come to a head in this book.

My stories start with The First Year. Then Bad Guys and Broomsticks, Birth of the Potter Children, and Raising Albus. Then Albus Potter stories, Albus Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Albus Potter, Classmates and Elves, and this book, Albus Potter, Friends and Foes. This book will cover Albus's fourth and fifth years. There will be at least one more book following this book.

This is the 6th of the 4 books of my 19 year story, the 2nd of the Albus Potter books. If I keep receiving reviews I plan to continue well past Albus's years at Hogwarts. Starts the afternoon of the same day Albus Potter and the Deathly Hallows ends.

Albus has his challenges during his first year. Cleopatra is obviously his soulmate, and has brilliant insights into magic, except she cannot do it like anyone else. Albus has to keep peace between the two brightest and most competitive students at Hogwarts, Scorpius and Rose. Harry is not sure he can keep everyone safe

A side story from my "Almost Happily Ever After" universe. Cho Chang has not dated since her boyfriend was killed at the Battle of Hogwarts. She had lost two boyfriends just after she kissed them, first Cedric, then Michael at the Battle of Hogwarts. She is terrified about getting into another relationship. But Ed just fought with balky drains. Maybe.

Raising Albus is turning out to be a challenge. Raising a child that is extraordinarily magically talented is difficult enough, but when the child is the subject of several prophesies the task can be daunting. Harry feels it may have been easier being a child subject to prophesies than raising one. Teddy wants to be an Auror. James and Lily pose their own challenges

Third in the Almost Happily After Series, after The First Year and Bad Guys and Broomsticks, following Harry, Ginny and their friends and family through the 19 years. Series outlined well past Albus's Hogwarts days.

This is the second of a planned 4 stories covering Harry and Ginny from the Battle of Hogwarts to the day Albus leaves for Hogwarts. It may help to read the first story, "The First Year," before reading this story. This story will cover Ginny's Quidditch career, but focus on Harry's growing power and influence as they capture the remaining death eaters.

This was originally written for the HPFF Winter Writer's Duel 2013. Thanks to my Beta FriendofMolly who suggested the happy ending. Once I had the less than 4,000 word version done I couldn't stop. The characters just had more of a story to tell. This is set in my Almost Happily Ever After universe.

Fairy tales end "And They Lived Happily Ever After," but good stories continue on "one season following another, laden with happiness ... and tears." The first of 4 stories covering the 19 years until Albus goes to Hogwarts. I have a rough draft all the way to the finish!
