  • Through Night into the Morning Light

He's clearly drunk. Really drunk. "Is Sam here?" he slurs, ignoring her previous question. "Who are you?" His eyebrows flick up, like answering takes effort. Maybe it does. "Dean, of course." (Dean and Jess meet, pre-series. Rated for language. NO SLASH. Only the feels and words belong to me).

  • Angels on the Ceiling

Wee!Dean reflects on the angels that are no more. Major angst, because...well, that's just the story of their lives, isn't it? Gen. Canon death of a character.

  • Progeny

The first time she sees him, he's so tall that she half-smiles. He's like some stoic giant, an ancient warrior. In an ill-fitted button-up. She wonders if his children will be tall. Jess POV, Stanford-era & Pilot. Sweetness and fluff and a little bit of angst, and then-well, we all know how it ends. Canon character death. No slash.

  • Steeple

"Fingertips together, pristinely pressed. Balance of probabilities expressed through balance of physicality." Sherlock's traditional pose, examined through a drabble.

  • Remember

"But this is a Winchester family roadtrip (Edition 2,047,853 or something, Sam thinks) and Winchesters and functional don't fit in the same sentence without a heavy-duty negator sandwiched in between." Set during the pilot, driving to Jericho. Dean asks about Jess. Somehow, Cassie comes up. Not that Sam knows as much. Not that Dean's telling. Language/Deannuendoes, etc. NO SLASH.

  • Learn to Close The Wound

Part 1 of my Stitches series. "Sammy's thirteen the first time he needs stitches, and he does them himself. Some years later, when Dean's facing down an empty bottle of Jack, he thinks it's high on the list of things he'll never forgive himself for." Hurt!Everybody (John, Dean, Sam) Rated for mild language and depiction of some injury/blood. NO SLASH.

  • Between the Lines of Fear and Blame

Part 2 of my Stitches series. "'I've going to stitch you up, son,' Dad says. His voice is low, grating. Dean winces under the anger in it, even though it's not meant for him. Even in his pain-addled brain, he's able to sort out the very clear thought that being stitched up by a furious Winchester is not going to be enjoyable." Hurt!Dean. Fighting John and Sam. NO SLASH.

  • Walk These Well-Known Ways Alone

Part 3 (final part) of my Stitches series. "Behind the scorn and flippancy and pain, he really does want it to be good, really does want Sam to be living his life, to be anywhere but sliced up by a ghost in a motel room, bleeding out onto a filthy floor, still trying to be too manly for tears." Hurt!Dean, alone. NO SLASH (of course). Major angst.

  • Predictions

"My dear Thorin," said the wizard, with a cough that was half a laugh, "If I could only tell of the Dwarvish wagers I might have taken in my time…no, my friend, a few pieces of your comrades' gold are insufficient to shake my faith in Mr. Baggins." (The morning of the journey, Bilbo's fate is still in question. Gandalf, Thorin, with bits of Fili, Kili, Balin and hobbits-NO SLASH)

  • Whisper

And it isn't just a shoelace, now, or some such object…she's what the whisper's latched onto, and it won't let her go… Is she trying to remember herself? -Emma doesn't remember, but she can't get rid of the whisper in her mind. 3x11 spoilers...Cursed!Emma, hint of Captain Swan and Gremma.

  • Imagine

The first day is a long stretch of wondering around the campus, dazed circles of the great buildings, getting him just excited enough to turn and make a jubilant remark to Dean. Except Dean's not there. (On the first day of college, Sam tries to fill the gap. NO SLASH, of course. Angst, humor, angst. The usual. Some language and Dean being Dean)

  • How It's Supposed to Go

He had planned everything-the registration and the packing and the budget and he'd even had a thought or two about how the fight with Dad would go (not that it had gone that way, not at all). But somehow, he hadn't even begun to imagine what the bus stop would be like-what this would be like. Yet here he is. (Pre-series; Dean takes Sam to leave for Stanford) NOT SLASH, of course.

  • Here Among the Happy

"She's happy, very happy, and there is so much to do and say and smile at that she has no time—no time at all to think of him." Molly watches Sherlock during John and Mary's wedding. Angsty Sherlolly, as per usual. Nothing but my feels belong to me.

  • Remedy

Dean smokes his first cigarette alone. Teen!Chesters, angsty one-shot, mentions of John and Sam. Rated for mild language and smoking. No slash, of course. Nothing recognizable belongs to me, but what's mine is mine. Reviews are a gift!

  • The Effects of Inertia

Traffic's at a stand still. Sam defends a Prius. And Dean just wants snacks. No spoilers, no slash (of course). Just some humorous brotherly squabbling. For Mythopoeia. Rated for a tad more language than usual, but nothing terrible.

  • Habit

Sam sets his jaw almost automatically. "I don't want to fall out of the habit," he says deliberately, laying another shirt neatly down in the drawer of the disreputable bureau. "When we get another house, or apartment, or whatever, I don't want to have become a slob who-" "Sam." Dean's interrupting. "We're not getting another house." Wee/Teen!Chesters. NO SLASH. Rated for language

  • Light

Even the dingy motel sign, with half its lights blown out, looks like a denizen of winter wonderland. (Wee!Chesters, snow day, angst, fluff, not a single bit of slash). (I own nothing-not the Winchesters *sigh* and not the Hans Christian Anderson story I briefly reference)

  • Question

For the whole first month after Sam leaves, Dean tells himself that nothing's changed. Pre-series brotherly angst. No slash, of course.

  • Listen

Redbeard doesn't come home with Mummy. Sherlock never understands why they left him alone in the emptiness. Little Sherlock, pre-series spoilers for Season 3.

  • Impediment

Penny struggles with her self-esteem after the boys present their latest "boards." Sheldon isn't helping. Set some time during Season 1. Rated for mild language.
