The team has to be cleared before returning to the field work after the Afghanistan mission. Deeks decides to pick an skill he used as a child. Also Deeks and Kensi have to resolve some relationship issues after the fallout of the mission. The team came back with all it's members, but did they come alone?

While in Afghanistan, Deeks takes a momentary decent into darkness after receiving the picture of his "dead" partner. My take on the deleted scene from Spoils of War.

In the closing events of Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum Deeks turned traitor and fled. Kensi believes that the charges are false, so she wonders what game her husband is playing. Will involve both D.C. and Los Angeles teams, but it's not a crossover. Plus an original character who falls for one of the L.A. team members.

Kensi and Deeks disappeared while on assignment; and the Office of Special Projects is picking up the piece. While working a case Callen and Sam see two people wearing cloaks and masks wrecking havoc in Los Angeles, but only with each other. Who are these maksed figures, and will Kensi and Deeks ever return? The entire O.S.P. is involved.

The closing events of The Fire Rises gives way to an old nemesis from Deeks past. He has come back to put an end to the ten year dance they have been doing. Will Deeks be able to finish what he has started ten years ago, or will he be the next victim? It would also seem that another skeleton is going to come out, but this one is far older. How far back does it go?

During the events of The Fire Rises, Sam was sent, comatose, to the hospital. The events of this story are Sam's journey back to reality. I rate the story T, but some chapters will be upped due to content appearing in it.
