AU. Patricia is the hated CEO of Williamson Publishing, and Eddie is her secretary she couldn't care less about. When Patricia faces the possibility of losing her company, she does the only thing that can save it: marry the secretary she knows next to nothing about. Oneshot.
"I'm not yours," she denies stiffly, her blue eyes quiet and submissive. "Then to who do you belong?" he questions. "No one," she answers, her voice breaking just once. "Not even to yourself?" (Dark, more realistic version of Tasertricks in a small drabble).
It's two in the morning, most definitely not a time for his neighbor to be singing karaoke of all things. (Random drabble modern!AU where Darcy lives in the apartment next to Loki.) Dedicated to rachelisafallenangel, whose birthday was two days ago!
"I'm sorry, Jack," she says breathily, and her chest constricts like she's going to cry. "I- I shouldn't be here. I know you don't want to see me, and that you have better things to do than listen to me, but I really want you to hear me out. I...I forgot you." She told him once you don't forget your first love, and once upon a time, he believed her.
(Rainbow Snowcone Week Day Four: Alternate Universe) When Tooth and her friends recruit troublemaker Jack Frost for the Guardians, a gang they call their own, they never quite expected the change he would bring. Tooth in particular can't help but want to get to know him better, and maybe even a little more than that.
She's always being lied to about her condition. For that reason, she never really believes anything anymore. That makes her want something to really, truly, believe in, and it doesn't help that he keeps acting like he's the one thing she needs to believe in. AU. Tooth/Jack oneshot. Idea from Bente36's tumblr post.
Darcy and Loki have never had a regular relationship, but that doesn't mean they're not going to go through the same things every couple does. From letters A to Z, here is a series of related oneshots following their relationship and all its ups and downs.
Zombie Apocalypse AU. When there seems to be nothing left to keep living for, a ragtag group of teenagers try to pick up the debris of a world not only destined to fall, but to take them all down with it. Major Jara, Peddie, Amfie, and Jabian.
"I'm Darcy, and I'm pretty sure that you're my baby daddy."/All human!AU. Darcy usually doesn't do one night stands. Loki doesn't either. When one drunken night gets out of control, they both have done exactly what they don't usually do...and not to mention that Darcy is now pregnant because of it.
AU. Loki is a business man denied the inheritance of his family's company, Asgard Industries, and as a result will stop at nothing to get it. Darcy is a broke undergrad he (unfortunately) meets by chance who just might be a way for Loki to get said company. This could either be the best thing Loki's ever done...or the most foolish. Tasertricks.
AU. Take a deep breath. Count to three. Deal with the pain of being shot. Deal with the annoying prat who won't answer your questions. Count to three again. What exactly did you do three days ago? Peddie, slight Jabian, Jara, and Amfie. (Entry to TooBusyBeingAnAwkoTaco's contest)
Ted promised her that someday she could tell the kids the story of how they met, and he intends to keep that promise. (Ted/Tracy oneshot).
AU. Peeta Mellark, football player and rich, good-looking guy, has agreed to take on a bet: to get Katniss Everdeen, goth chick and resident loner of Panem High, to go out with him. What he didn't realize, though, is just how hard it has proven to be.
She's always kept strong through everything, and he's always been the one to need her support. In what can only be descibed the worst of times, the tables are turned and he finds he has to find some way to support her, even with the thought he might never have her there to support him ever again. (Ted/Tracy)
"We're supposed to be together," he mutters to her gravestone, rubbing his hand on the cold surface that starts getting wetter as the rain starts to pour. "We promised each other that. For better or for worse. But you're not here for the worse." (Ted/Mother oneshot, spoilers included).
Being alone isn't something rare here. In fact, having a family is what is becoming rare. But even though I'm not alone- not technically- I feel like I am. They tell me it's not my fault for all their deaths, but I don't believe them. I'm just another person dying slowly inside and out. (Zombie apocalypse AU, slight Peeta/Katniss).
