An office discussion about names puts Gerry on a mission to discover Sandra's middle name. Bad summary but it's a bit of fun so I hope you enjoy it!
This is based on series 6, episode 6, 'The Last Laugh', where Sandra has to persuade Strickland to let her and the team question Luke and Ricky Hanson about Mary's murder. A sequel of sorts to The Art of Interrogation.
She'd tried for so long to shake off the whispers behind her, but then everything changed. They weren't just her team, they were her saviours. A short (non-shippy) freeverse.
What are you supposed to get the woman who has everything for her birthday? Well, as usual, Gerry has an idea.
A bit of shameless Sherry fluff for the sake of it. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters.
It's not every day you have to babysit a young girl whilst on duty, and it's certainly not every day that that young girl is Sandra Pullman.
He'd always been fascinated with police interrogations; it was a delicate thing, a well-honed skill. Much like acting, in many ways. And here he was, with a front row seat to the show. (A little one-shot I wrote a while ago, nothing shippy, more for writing practice than anything else but thought I'd publish anyway. Reviews welcome as always.)
He'd never expected his final regeneration to be a human by the name of Brian Lane.
"He would help her to recover from this heartbreak if it was the last thing he did." A little one-shot with a dash of Sherry. Disclaimer: I don't own New Tricks or any of the characters.
It was only by making a trivial mistake that she realised- nothing would ever be the same again. A little one-shot set around Jack's departure.
Set around 'The Last Laugh', where Sandra has to persuade Strickland to let her question Luke and Ricky Hanson. Slight Sandra/Strickland but more friendship based.
It's audit week, and Strickland is away, so Sandra is instructed to cover for him. It's boring, bureaucratic and means she can't supervise the boys, but still- how difficult could it be?
Epilogue to Under The Bridge, could be read as a separate story. Sandra has relocated to Paris with Max, but an unexpected visitor brings news that could threaten her new life. Sandra/Max.
Short Sherry one shot. I wrote the poem at the top and thought it required developing, hence this was created.
"Somehow they had come full circle but he wasn't there to see it." I can't say much here without giving the game away but enjoy.
The unsolved murder of a man at a battle re-enactment is re-investigated by the UCOS team when his wife is found dead at her home fifteen years on.
"Was it strange that he relished their arguments?" A short freeverse. Sandra/Strickland.
It's Brian and Esther's fortieth wedding anniversary, so Gerry comes up with an idea to make it an extra special day.
Gerry gets to work early to find Sandra asleep on the sofa- why is she there, and how will he react? Meanwhile, Sandra is experiencing a bizarre dream. Slight Sherry. The POV switches from Sandra to Gerry throughout. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters.
Strickland has organised a Christmas meal for the team at the Savoy but there's one problem- Sandra has forgotten to buy him a present. A joint fic by BethyBoo97, Geezworld234 and myself. Nothing shippy, just a bit of Christmas fun. Disclaimer- we don't own any of the characters.
