  • The Long Goodbye

Story expansion for 14X13 "Lebanon". Dean is almost afraid to move, worried the illusion will come crashing down. This is a moment, a feeling, he wants to cling to for as long as he can. Nothing matters but this. Not Michael or his plan, or the timer counting down on the stability of the cage in his head.

  • When the Dust Settles

Missing Scene for 2X22 "All Hell Breaks Loose Part 2." This is not the look of a man who sat a patient vigil, waiting for his wounded brother to wake. This is the look of a man who has been pushed not only to his breaking point, but right over the edge of it.

  • Rest Stop

Tag for episode 2X12 "Nightshifter". Sam squints down at his brother. "And if the cops do find us, what exactly is your plan? To fall down from exhaustion and make it easy for them to haul you back in?"

  • All the King's Horses

Tag for 1X15 "The Benders". "Dean, if you get in a cab with me right now, I am telling them to take your ass straight to the hospital." Sam's pretty sure he should do that regardless. But he knows what to do with a concussion and thinks he can handle patching up the burn himself. Can take care of his brother, if Deans lets him.

  • Another Brick in the Wall

Tag/Missing Scenes for 2X01 IMTOD and 2X02 ELAC. Suck it up. Dean reminds himself that he's felt much worse, recently. Just sixty hours ago, he was down for the count, his life leaking out of him to stain the floorboards of that cabin.

  • False Alarm

Missing Scenes for 2X20 "What Is and What Should Never Be". Up close, Dean's face is eerily gray, and Sam can feel the chill coming off him. A frightening, lifeless chill. He knows his brother has already taken hit after hit over the past year, that each one has undoubtedly left him changed in some way. How much more damage could one djinn really do?

  • Frailty

Sammy will stop you. It's not even a question; of COURSE he will. Sammy is his conscience, his safety net. But they stopped thinking of the possessed as victims they can save. Both of them. Now they're lost causes, given up for dead as soon as the demon takes hold. It makes the job easier to only see the demon. Spoilers through S9. Rating for language.

  • Lean

Forget everything he'd said to Dean over the past couple of months. Sam understands now the fear, the desperation. The whiskey hits his tongue and he REMEMBERS that he's been through this all before, lived this nightmare. 9.23, same spoilers. Language.

  • Not Forgotten

Drabble. S1. Sam reaches into shadow for the sawed-off.

  • Invented

Retitled. It's a fairy tale in her head and he's a prince on her porch, but a couple of days in she's realizing how off the mark her fantasizing has been. He's not riding a white stallion but a black car, big and loud and aggressive, and those are all words to describe Dean, himself, and she didn't think he'd be dragging himself back to her on the worst day of his life. S1-5 Splrs

  • Over the Hill

Age catches up with the Winchesters. Mild language.

  • Blood Oath

Sam's left hand shoots out wicked fast, a brief flash of steel as he draws the small concealed blade just deep enough across the back of Dean's hand, a hot poker tearing a path wrist to thumb along the bone. Some language. Mid S9

  • Crimson and Clover

Post-ep for 8.14 "Trial and Error." Just some good old-fashioned whump and blood and gore and language. Sam wishes Bobby was around. In the chaos, in the adrenaline rush of killing the hound, of initiating the trials, of Dean's side hanging in ribbons to the belt loops of his faded jeans, he'd let a stranger patch up his brother, and he'd forgotten the holy water.

  • A Sunday

He isn't a monster, isn't without empathy, and recognizes Dean is no longer taking care of himself and isn't sleeping well, if at all. Sam takes it all in the way a roommate would. Concern without intervention. Spoilers through 9.16.
