[This is set right after 3x12] - After their return to Storybrooke, Henry can't remember his old life & the things that happened in Neverland, yet he's unconsciously suffering from PTSD, especially in his dreams. One night Killian hears his screams and awakens the boy from his nightmare. To distract him he begins to tell a tale about an honorable pirate and a courageous young lady.

[this takes place after 2x09] After Killian has witnessed Emma's powers he gets reminded of his childhood and his mother's own magic, which leads him to recall about some light as well as dark memories of his past. (this has very little dialogue and some violence, you have been warned)

While lying in bed, Emma gets curious about Killian's past and asks him about his scars and tattoos (this affiliates with my former fic 'A Fenced Heart' but you can perfectly read this without the need to catch up on AFH)

An insight into the short time that Killian spends alone in front of the diner and during their shared kiss with Emma, mostly from Killian's POV (please note that this is my perception of this scene and you may not agree with it)

Emma finds out about Killian's adventures during the past year and can't believe what he went through (this takes place after 3x19).

Married future!Captain Swan became parents to a little daughter whom Killian tries to swaddle while Emma's getting ready for her girl's night out.

Before Killian and Emma went downstairs to share a cup of cocoa at Granny's, they work together in her room. Emma wants to make untalkative Killian to speak and asks him about his tattoo and Milah.
