Pete is on his way to have dinner with Elli and her family when he finds out that Elli and Stu are in the midst of a quarrel. Stu wants to play a new video game, but Elli wants him to do his maths homework. Pete takes it upon himself to show Stu the importance of good number crunching skills to a farmer.

Toy is depressed. It hasn't stopped raining in days and he's beginning to doubt that Alice will be comming back to Leaf Valley. All he can do is snark his way through a first person narrative.
