Little people are happy people. Unnoticed by organizations like the Avengers, the Fantastic Four or Heaven forbid, the X-men. But sometimes, we get into a little trouble. Maybe. Once in a while, if other thieves get involved. This is a little slice of my life.

Astartes Shepard has been assigned a new task: to escort strange alien civilians to a site within Imperium borders. The Emperor Renewed has issued a personal directive that preparations are to take place, an alien race seeks to destroy the peace achieved within the Imperium's holy borders. My first foray into the 40k 'verse, insight would be helpful.

So this is a one shot I wrote as an alternative to my Mindoir, and it's a lot longer. I'm putting it up here instead of leaving it at the end of Nth Degree, mostly because I think this is better written.
