It starts off okay, but when Percy gives Annabeth a friendly peck on the cheek, something inside the son of Hades snaps. Nico is the prince of Grandor, something of which he both loves and hates. For eighteen years, he never had to worry about much. But with his father retiring, the king decides his son needs to get married. He gives Nico until the summer solstice, one week, to find someone to court and marry. Hal has always been content with that, but during Brotherband training some unexpected feelings come about. Problem is, Hal isn't sure what he wants from Stig. To be best friends, or something more. AU, everyone is mortal. Percy met Nico the summer he taught swim lessons. A moment between them leaves Percy broken hearted.
