Decided to put the shorter forum challenges together. Starting from Nov 2021. Hopefully each chapter will be a complete short, but will always be marked as In Progress. 1. Interest. Heyes a safe and a too interested sheriff 2. Ice- a childhood Valpo story. Just two boys and a conversation. 3. December 2021- Friendly Gathering. Kid and Heyes seek a safe place to rest at Devil's Hole
A sequel to 'Broken Dreams.' I'm not sure if this is a complete story, or whether there is more to be said. Anyway, the Kid and Heyes continue to deal with the aftermath of the Kid's losses. A trip to Porterville, brings with it the promise of a bright future.
Amnesty brings with it a slightly bitter parting of the ways. But a disaster pulls the boys back together.
This was a story I didn't intend to write, but Archie whispered it's time, and who am I to argue with The Bullet? The Kid and Heyes have to say farewell to an old friend.
When Heyes is shot by a bounty hunter, even when they're safe, things still look bad. WIP.
Kid and Heyes find themselves in a spot of bother in a small town. A mix of humour and angst. A small diversion from my other tale! Yes, I think you can probably work out where my interest lies.
A couple of rough days, ending in a moment of peace.
A sequel to 'Lucky Day'. In the aftermath of their encounter with Danny Bilson, Heyes and the Kid seek out Archie Beckman.
A series that I have previously posted elsewhere. The first part is a rewrite of the challenge story 'Fool Me Once.' I intended to write about twelve stories ending in them getting amnesty- but seem to have been derailed! Some gun violence in the first chapter, but nothing that different from the series.
After the boys finally get their amnesty. What happens next? This is my view of what might! The Kid of course finds trouble. The story is more about his journey, although Heyes is alongside him for the ride. The story is now complete. 2 Epilogues added.
Story posted on AO3 in Sept 2020. Jed and Heyes split up in their teens, this is my take on what happens. Some violence and non explicit attempt at m/m non con. Thanks to: Dawn: For her invaluable help and suggestions on the early drafts. Penski: For an encouraging, fun and thorough beta. ASJ FB Group&Forum members: For their patience.
On the day Jed and Heyes split in their teens. Jed meets a man who will have a lasting impact on how he develops as a gunslinger. Inspired by a wonderful picture a fb friend posted at the weekend, which I've used as the cover image.
Three times the Kid's birthday was awful and one time it wasn't.
The Kid and Heyes are forced to separate and the Kid is in deep trouble.
Heyes and Curry in the early days after their amnesty and just before their first Christmas as free men. An extended version of my 2021 Advent Calendar Story 'The Tree.'
