Something went wrong when Natsu and Wendy entered the Eclipse Gate. Instead of being sent to the future they were instead sent to another universe. Natsu ended up on Eridanus II while Wendy ended up on Reach. They both became Spartans Natsu became the Master Chief and Wendy became Noble 6.
