Inspired by characters and themes from Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games and Malorie Blackman's Noughts & Crosses, this story interlinks narratives from two young people - Ash and Rose - as they find themselves on the wrong side of the law in a dystopian Manchester (a northern English city).
