This rock opera tells the story of one year in the life of a group of bohemians struggling in modern day East Village New York. The story centers around Artie and Puck, two roommates. While a former tragedy has made Puck numb to life, Artie tries to capture it through his attempts to make a film. In the year that follows, the group deals with love, loss and AIDS.

Marcel has decided to recruit three descending witches from the Devereux line using some less than moral methods. Little does he know, these three sisters have more power than he bargained for. With Althea running the show as his secondhand, Maureen running security, and Sawyer handling the general crowd they seem to have the town all tied up. And then the Originals arrive.
