A fearsome beast is terrorising Ordon and Link is missing. While searching for her kingdom's Hero, Princess Zelda arrives in Ordon to discover that Link, broken and hurting, has become a wolf and refuses to turn back in order to escape his pain. Determined to help Zelda she sets out to save them both from the consuming darkness left behind by their battles. Post TP.

A rebellion is rising in Hyrule, led by the mysterious Ganondorf, who with his ever-growing strength has forced the Princess Zelda into a corner. Elsewhere, Link washes up in Ordon with no memories except those of past lives that don't belong to him. When he saves a soldier from a fierce beast Link is dragged into a life he knows but wants no part in. The life of a Hero.

Link is searching for his twin brother, Dark, who was stolen away by a sorcerer ten years ago. When he finally finds said twin again, though, Link discovers he's been turned into a soldier for the enemy - for Ganondorf. With Dark hell-bent on killing him, Link is determined to bring his brother back to the light, no matter what it takes.
