Garrick Ollivander was almost single-handedly responsible for supplying the British wizarding world with wands. After his capture and incarceration in Malfoy Manor he finds himself remembering the stories of how some of the most important witches and wizards in our story bought their first wands.

The wizarding world was in a state of jubilation. Normally respectable people were partying all day and night and even Muggles were setting off fireworks. Lord Voldemort was dead but at the cost of two young lives, ignored by the Press but not their friends.
