Leto Atreides finds himself in need of a wife at long last and the entire Padishah empire is only too happy to put forth every young woman at their disposal. The eventual Mrs. Atreides is not who anyone would have expected, and even after Leto settles into married life, there are forces at play which threaten that hardwon happiness and all he has built.
