In the past, Hijiri Byakuren and Yorigami Joon tried to understand each other. In the present, one wants the pestilence god to resume an aescetic temple life, the other wants the monk to live indulgently. Both think the other is asking for the imposible, but when Joon forces all of her wealth on Byakuren, both are tested and forced to consider what they truly want from each other.
