Worry and fear shroud two Clans, and tension is nipping at the paws of the warriors. While many debate on what a medicine cat's vision means, several young cats from each Clan set out on a journey to begin the fulfillment of a prophecy that may change the course of how the Clans live forever.

A young apprentice finds herself in the midst of an unraveling prophecy when darkness strikes the valley. She and her littermates go on a search to find the supposed "ghost" that SunClan's medicine cat had seen moons before, but never again. If they succeed, their home will be saved. If they don't, life as they know it will change forever.
