When Lily, an intern for the Daily Bugle, is set out to find the person behind the mask of New York's Spider-Man, her life turns upside down with secrets, supervillains, and a boy by the name of Peter Parker.

In Peter's 23 years of life, tragedy keeps striking Peter and his loved ones even when he tries his best to keep them safe. His best friends, girlfriend, his aunt, everyone he cares about seems to always be getting hurt because of him, because of Spider-Man. After he's injured, it only gets worse and maybe it's time for him to hang up the hero mask.
