The war is over. Before they can get themselves figured out, Hermione leaves Ron to go to Australia to find her parents and restore their memories and their relationship. Hermione explains that she needs to do this alone, but will return as soon as she can. Things don't go necessarily according to the plan and Ron finds himself on an unexpected path.

Ron is finishing Auror training. Hermione is finishing Hogwarts. Ron is ready to get on with his life, but things don't work out the way he hoped.

Hermione and have been married for a while; their kids are at Hogwarts, and career-wise they are right where they thought they should be. But they're finding that they are bored, restless, and looking for something new. Hermione will find though, that you have to be careful what you wish for.
