What if Harry was raised by Sirius rather than the Dursleys? How would his story differ? Could his love life differ?

At first this is just going to be a grittier retelling of Harry Potter but as the story goes on it will change drastically as a story and develop into something entirely different.

Uncle Vernon has broken his leg and Petunia needs help setting up for when Marge comes over. So she lets Hermione come over to help her and Harry set up. This takes place Harry's third year and unlike the summer before his third year Hermione is not going to France so she is able to help out Harry.

Harry's parents survived. Sirius isn't in Azkaban. Harry and Ron have been best friends since they could talk. And Harry also has a little sister.

Harry is invited to the School of Hogwarts Witch Craft and Wizardry. There he finds not only love, friends, flying sports on broomsticks, and magi in everything from classes to meals, but a great destiny that's been waiting for him...if Harry can survive the encounter.
