When Sonic and Tails are ambushed in the air by an unknown adversary, they are forced to pull all stops to protect each other. Through blood, sweat and tears, Tails must push the limits of mobian and machine, prepared to give it all for those he loves.

Welcome to my first-ever completed fanfic. This piece is inspired by Carl Sagan's book Pale Blue Dot, but the initial inspiration came from the song Pale Blue by RogueVHS, based on the same powerful soliloquy. It's exactly a year since Cosmo had given her life to preserve life throughout the vast universe, and Tails decides to honor her in his own special way.
