I know – for the sake of plot, drama and her own character flaws – that Khushi came up with her own reasons in the show to not tell anyone in Shantivan about Shyam's truth. I used elements from the show to create an AU where Khushi aims to reveal all from the outset, is a bit more resourceful and has just a tiny bit more luck.
