After The events of Chapter 2, Berdly's left with the sinking feeling that his "Dream" about the dark world may be more real than it seemed. This leads to him and Noelle fighting their way through another dark world to rescue Kris and Susie. Meanwhile tensions grow between Kris and the entity controlling them, and questions are raised about the human's increasingly weird behavior.
