Set after the war. It has been a year since Hogwarts reopened and the first class to graduate since the end of the war has just flown the coop. For a year Minerva McGonagall has struggled to run the school and balance the scales between encouraging independence and sheltering her children from a still healing world. Being Headmistress is a lonely job, luckily she is not alone.

This fic is inspired by the song 'Burn' from Hamilton the musical (if you haven't heard it I strongly suggest listening to it - not that you need to for the story just because it is amazing), set a few years after the war Hermione finds out that Ron has been cheating on her in the worst possible way, but what will she say to the wizard who has burnt her world to a crisp.
