Lawrence, a cowardly human-turned togepi, suddenly wakes up in the world of pokemon mystery dungeon, lost and confused. He meets up and befriends an energetic jangmo-o and together they end up tangled on a conspiracy that threatens the fate of the Sand Continent, or maybe even the world itself. Will they uncover the truth together, or succumb to the darkness alone?
