What if the Cuthberts adopted more than just Anne in a moment of madness? What if Anne had spent longer at the orphanage, making strong bonds and a pretend family there? What if Anne had an older brother? One Gilbert befriended? Alternative Universe, new characters, original characters acting out of character
Anne's history is a little different. So is Gilbert's in this semi modern telling with a few twists that depart from cannon. The two finally meet face to face in college and naturally Gilbert likes her. Low angst (other then mention of previous events, trigger warning for an attack on a female character). Semi modern times (2000s)
This follows the trope of what if Elizabeth was not really Bennet. As is often the case with various fan fiction tropes, reality, facts and what can actually occur has to be suspended quite a bit while reading (I know I certainly suspended it while writing).
What if Mr. Collins was a friend of Mr. Darcy. Col. Fitzwilliam and Mr. Bingley prior to Darcy and Bingley going to Hertfordshire? As of right now this is a concept of only a few chapters (posted in a single posting), that I would like to flesh out into a story, but I need some suggestions for inspiration. I would appreciate any ideas
A few weeks after leaving Netherfield Darcy realizes he wants to marry Elizabeth. He will need a Christmas miracle and some help from his friends to achieve his goal.
What if Collins was vile, Lady Catherine was crazy and the Gardiners better connected in friendship? A ridiculous romp of farfetchedness. Reader beware, characters will be out of cannon and rational facts will be suspended for this telling.
