Rose Weasley was beautiful and brilliant but thinking back she'd never really seemed happy. More like, on the verge of being happy. As though she was holding back one second too long and the moments just passed her by.

They had once been fifth year students experiencing the signs of first love. Now they were seventh year students worlds apart. Rose wondered everyday what happened, why did he hate her, where did everything go wrong, how did we get here...

Rose opened her door to find Scorpius Malfoy standing before her, looking a little worn and thoroughly exhausted.
