With the way DmC ended, it is obvious there is still a story, a big one to be told, but yet might never see the light of day, this is how I think a sequel could work, set 5 years after the original game.

Right on the last chapter of Keys to the Demon Prison, few months after the Demon War, Kendra and Bracken had a meeting and were just casually talking and walking, until a package from the Singing Sisters appeared, one that could stop the storm.
