All in all Bilbo's quite satisfied with his adventure. He's alive, his friends are alive, the dragon and a whole bunch of orcs are fertilizer. It could definitely have ended worse. If only female!Bilbo didn't have it so much better, the lucky cheat.

Bilbo's wedding was neither as big nor as posh as Frodo had feared, but it was still disquietingly grand. Even the photographers were wearing tuxedos, and that blond one looked especially fine in his. (Modern!AU in which Frodo and Fili meet at Bilbo and Thorin's wedding and hit it off.)
