This haunting was hereditary. If he shut down the background processes in his CPU, thoughts of the past hedgehog-series would come to mind. Sometimes, if he shut off his optics and stalled his engine, he could feel their hand searching for his in the repair bay. just a drabble about that one IDW issue

Hedgehog-series robots were always designed with superior intelligence, but something was definitely different about Metal Sonic, it always had been. That spark of emotion in him seemed to come from somewhere deep within, and it sure as hell wasn't normal for a robot that was supposed to be nothing more than a copy of Sonic.
