Canon up to 6x04 "Black Hole Sun" then partially original plot. S6 had a lot of missed opportunities for exploring some of the plot lines. I feel like they drew out some and rushed through others. In my version, I go into what I think was going through Damon and Elena's minds and also ask, "What if Bonnie came back with Damon the first time around, just unbeknownst to all.
