High School senior Susumu Abaasa finds himself in the principal's office a week before graduation. To ensure his future, his parents send him away for the summer to live in the woods with his mysterious uncle Haru. Their friendship will end up taking Susumu on an adventure where he will meet the greatest G.I. Joe soldier in its fabled history.
