The year is 1959. It's approaching the new year in the city of Las Vegas. It's business as usual for private investigators Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle as they get caught up a missing persons case, blackmail involving adultery and murder, and uncovering an illegal arms racket with connections to a corrupt trucker's union. *GSR*

The year is 1955. The city is San Francisco. The job: finding a lawyer's missing wife. It should be a simple job, all he has to do is get himself caught up in a case of mistaken identity, robbery, kidnapping, organized crime, and murder with no recollection on how it all happened. (pre-GSR)

The board is set. The first moves made. The only problem? A serial killer wants to use real people as the pieces. It's a game of serial killer versus serial killer in my sequel story to Aberrations. *GSR*
