Maura is a doctor at Mass Gen and Jane is her patient in the aftermath of her first encounter with Hoyt. Will they get together or will there be an unwelcome appearance of someone from Maura's past? Slight crossover of characters involved.

The story starts at the end of Season 2 at 'Burning Down the House' with the only difference being that Jane and Maura are an established couple at this point with consequences to bear following the incident at the warehouse.
