A follow-up fic to the other Absence-fic in the series, where Anne, Sasha and Marcy ended up in a relationship with each other. This here consists of anecdotes of the girls' love life.

What if Anne hadn't been the only girl to get a job offer by the Guardian? What if all three girls were chosen for different reasons, but didn't realize the other two were also till death? All three of them would try to prepare and better themselves in their own way. Friendship, no romance between them, although some feelings are there.

Another post-canon story, starting at the moment the three meet each other again in the epilogue for Anne's birthday. Then Marcy gets into a fight with her parents and moves back to LA. Feelings resurface which may turn romantic in time, but also fear of meddling with and maybe losing a finally stable, non-toxic friendship.
