Now, I don't support Dramione, but I did try to write it so that it fit well into the 19 year gap that J.K. Rowling did not explain in the books, although she does go deeper in interviews, etc. but if you have only read the books (and/or watched the movies) without reading/watching/listening to interviews, it should fit (If you haven't read the books it might not make sense).
