  • To be is to be perceived

Harry Potter is not normal, to his relatives' great despair. He's not a perfect image of his father, either, to Snape's great despair. Instead, the boy has the audacity to constantly contradict any and all of Snape's expectations, including being sorted into Ravenclaw. Harry stumbles through his first year at Hogwarts, not so much seeking danger as sauntering vaguely towards it.
