After an experiment with an unknown technology goes awry, King Dedede finds himself a long hike away from Dream Land. With a vaguely familiar threat on his tail, he needs to figure out how to get back home in a dimension-hopping journey to save the multiverse from a forgotten civilization's (and his own) grave mistake.
