Alternate Universe. Ron is a Mortal. Draco is an Immortal. Where Mortals gave due respect to Immortals without question and bowed their heads, Ron remained standing and defied the natural law in refusing to acknowledge Draco worthy of respect.

Ron and Draco broke up. Again.

A minute ago Draco was thinking about what to do for the rest of his life and the next second his cheek was sore, his mind was numb and he was in pain. (PG13 because of the subtle approach on things)

Draco saw Ron outside his gate.

You hoped you wouldn't come across each other in this war. You hoped that he had the same thoughts as yours. But, as fate had always been unkind to you, he was right there when you turned the corner.

It was a night of masquerade, where everyone wore masks to hide who they are for the time being.

Colin takes a picture of Ron and Draco then publishes it 20 years later. No one knew it 20 years ago, not even Ron or Draco. 20 years later, they find out in Colin's grand opening of his gallery.

It is a time of change, of strife and sorrow. Ron loses everything. Draco realizes he has nothing.

Sequel (and closure) to Facts. Now that the danger had passed, it was time for Ron and Draco to realize and understand what was obvious to everyone else but them.
