Have you ever just read a line in a book that made your mind wander? A throw-away reference to something that the characters know about, but you, as the reader, don't recognize? Something that happens in between the lines or outside of the scope of the book? I'm using these lines as prompts to write some more detail into this epic fantasy world.

New Year's is a time for a new beginning. Leaving one year and heading into the next with a new attitude. Here she sits on the steps in her friend's house, sulking over a breakup, not caring to change her attitude upon midnight. Little does she know, a round of last minute confessions is coming her way, ready to change her mind on the new year.

It's been three days since Finn died…and was brought back. Willa's days since have been filled with countless meetings and debriefings causing her to lose all her energy. Willa plopped down on the bed and set an alarm on her phone for 30 minutes before the debriefing. Is more sleep the solution to all her problems or is there something-or someone-out there who can fix everything?
