The Winchester brothers bring Kate (OC) into the fold after a chance meeting. She must work through the baggage of her past while assisting the brothers with cases large and small. Most chapters are written on a case-by-case, clue-by-clue basis. Things get complicated as things often do- Sam gets cursed, Dean and Kate develop feelings, and God decides to wipe out humanity.

John drops an 8 year old Sam and a 12 year old Dean off for a few weeks at Bobby's house. Over the course of what stretched into several months Sam learns to ride a bike, Dean learns engine components, and Bobby learns to live again. Angst and fluff ensues. As usual, John comes back to ruin everything.

John Winchester is a demon and has escaped from hell, looking to take revenge on his sons for rescuing Bobby over him. The reader is drawn in when she is used as bait for the Winchester brothers. She ends up hunting with them, and witnesses John force his sons to choose between saving Charlie and Jody. The final showdown takes place in purgatory.

This is closely based on the Season Five finale when Dean goes to Lisa. In this fic, the reader replaces Lisa. The story documents their time together- how Dean copes with Sam's death and adjusts to family life. But, at least for the Winchesters, all good things must come to an end.

This is a record of Sam and Jess' time together. It cover's their initial meeting (she pepper sprays him), Christmas' together, and how their relationship develops. Fluff to angst.

The reader has a run in with Jack Frost; Sam and Dean have to warm her back up. Fluff ensues.
