The Kingdom of Soleanna was a peaceful place, until the people disturbed the forest, which turned out to be the domain of Mephiles the Dark, King of Demons. As payment for stealing from his domain, he demands that every year someone must be sacrificed to him. When a hedgehog named Silver offers himself up, things begin to change, for them and the kingdom.
After a mission, Surge runs off just to get away from Starline for a while, leaving behind an anxious Kit. She finds herself in a grungy city where a chain of events will change hers, and Kit's, lives forever. What will happen? Find out as you read.
