I've always been fascinated by the fandom theory that Edith Crawley is actually Lady Rosamund's illigitimate daughter. This is my take on that in my usual verbose, meandering style.

Bits and pieces from Aubade and Cantata that didn't fit into the main storyline. NOTE: some of this content will be M-rated, that is why the story is marked as such. A darker look at the way that Mary and Edith's enmity, and Mary's habit of lashing out without thought could go. Really quite a nice story in some ways, but touches on the fact that the divisions in the Crawley family really are more likely to result in a broken rather than cohesive family.

Sequel to Aubade, set during Season 2. This story will be posted in parts covering the events in Season 2 dealing with Edith finding her way back to the Crawley family, her marriage to Anthony surviving his service on the Western Front, his war work and how it left him scarred, and other events of Season 2 in this Andith universe.
